Fictional client, The Pigeon, is a small coffee shop company located in the heart of big cities. The company is as quirky, friendly, positive, and social as cities' most common birds: the pigeon. The company was searching for a new brand identity and style system that captured their goals and characteristics.
To create a new identity for The Pigeon, I explored ideas by mindmapping, moodboarding, sketching, and prototyping. I wanted to fully map out the visuals and ideas that best connected with the company's quirky and fun personality. I found inspiration in organic, round shapes, imperfection, and city aesthetics.
FINALIZED IDENTITY
The finalized identity for The Pigeon includes a primary and secondary lockup. Both lockups feature a pigeon mascot in place of the letter P, a choice that matches the quirky and fun focus of the company. The E features an upside down coffee mug, a detail that connects to the company's product in a fun way. The warm and welcoming pink combines with the earthy green to capture the unique brand.
